Four goals have been scored in two European Championship finals, with Spain beating Italy 4: 0 to reach the Final of Euro 2012 in Kiev. The final between West Germany and Czechoslovakia in 1976 in Belgrade ended 2: 2 after extra time with the Czechs winning the trophy with a 5: 3 victory in a penalty shootout.    

The UEFA EURO 2020 final is an upcoming football match in which the winner of the UEFA EURO 2020 will be determined. MANCHESTER, England, June 18 (Reuters) — UEFA has contingency plans to replace Wembley as the venue for the 2020 European Championship finals after Britain agreed to exempt traveling foreign fans from a 10-day quarantine rule, the governing body said on Friday.

Wembley Stadium was due to host the European Championships Final and Semi-Finals in July, but there were concerns that it would be held in London amid a rise in infections linked to the aggressive delta coronavirus variant in the UK.    

Tournament organizers have been in negotiations with the UK government since it delayed plans to end COVID-19 restrictions until June 21 due to the rapid spread of the highly contagious delta variant.

There were twelve cities on the continent involved in the competition, and the semi-finals were held the day before the final was due to take place in London.

The two teams met 27 times, the first meeting taking place in 1933 in a 1-1 draw in Rome.

Wembley Stadium’s foreign fans are being allowed to attend the European Championship finals so that UEFA doesn’t move them out with our negotiations with the UK government.
