3-0 victory for Italy over Turkey in the opener

In Rome, Italy beat Turkey 3-0 to kick off Euro 2020, which had been delayed for over a year. A quarter of the Stadio Olimpico was filled to capacity for the second half as all the goals were scored. Merih Demiral’s own goal gave Roberto Mancini’s team the lead before Ciro Immobile and Lorenzo Insigne netted for Roberto Mancini’s side.
