Aboard the rocket and capsule of the New Shepard, Jeff Bezos has successfully traveled to the edge of space and landed safely.
BLUE ORIGIN, the company headed by the world’s richest man, performed its first crewed space flight with his brother Mark, 82-year-old aviator and space regulator Wally Funk, and 13-year-old Dutch teen Oliver Daemen.
Incredible: Jeff Bezos, one of the world’s richest people, has led the first human flight of Blue Origin up to 107km above the earth and safely returned back to Earth. It also featured Jeff Bezos’s brother and the Youngest and Oldest Person to go to space.
Bezos called it the “best day ever” and said it was an important step towards developing reusable spacecraft for our children and theirs to “build a road to space”.
Earth receives Jeff Bezos back
